What's up, Green Heritage Game 2011

The game is not only a game.  

There's stories behind every game. Much efforts had been done; to find members, to form a group, to build up stamina, to collect few kilos of Plastic and so on. It has been a challenging one before the game itself started. I'm glad to participate in 7th Youth Trophy Challenge- Green Heritage Game 2011, so here I am to present you the game, a day that we rocked Georgetown! 

Early in the morning on Saturday, I should be sleeping like a pig on cozy bed instead of started to pack a lot of recycle materials like a "karung guni" before I headed to Georgetown.

 A very minor part of our group's recycle items for investing purposes.( Part of the game to gain more points)

As the photo shown above, we actually brought more than those in the photos and walk all the way from Times Square to Esplanade. Lesson learnt: Give up newspaper which is super burdened!! Unless you have Mr.muscles teammates :p

First and foremost, before the game officially started, each group is required to work together with another group to melt the ice cube, which is like 45cm x15cm. Here's the link for the Ice melting video!!

After the big ice cube is finally melted,  5 of us have to finish up a loaf of white bread, which taste like SHIT! Even Bangali Roti sell at roadside also taste better than that! I almost vomited out but forced myself to swallow it down to my throat by drinking huge amount of water!

Our group get this done in like 10-15 minutes? Soon after we got our very first clue, we rushed to GuangMing office to buy each of ourself a newspaper and completed our very first side task :) yet, this is only the beginning!!!

What to shame to say, being a penangite for 17 years already, we still have to study the Georgetown map for quite a time to find out where is our exact location and where are we heading to! Come on, I mean this is our hometown and has been recognised by UNESCO as world heritage site yet we as local resident do not know how does Georgetown actually looks like? How sarcastic and irony? 

Lesson Learnt: I should start knowing my own hometown before I'm qualified to visit and find out other cities :)

First station: Shuttlecock kicking!

In case you don't know what is a shuttlecock, here's it. 

Normally, we will only see this thing in those chinese drama series. (though I have one at home^^) However, it's kinda challenging to kick on this shuttlecock and PASSING IT to others! Seriously, not easy, don't play play ah!

Informed to attend special event in St.Xavier's volleyball court! MY GOODNESS!!! That freaking place is freaking far away from our current location! As expected, we're late upon arrival! Such a sad story!

THOUGH we failed to complete to complete the first special event, but we managed to reach the second special event, and guess what? We reached an hour earlier! So we started studying the map and strategies all over again, and also settled our lunch there, ENERGY BARS!!! provided by Peace Tan! 

Lesson Learnt: Time estimating is really important! Lunch is important as well hehe!

The rest of the game is about finding game stations and complete as much as we can. Attending special events and gain as many marks as possible! I find one challenging game is playing GASING! I don't even know how to tie up the rope... :( mempersiasuikan sahaja!!!  The rest of the games are not bad but I shouldn't have tell on the blog so much! :p

The whole game finished at 5.30pm and we're required to reach Times Square at 6pm. After a day of long journey around Georgetown, all of us were extremely, HUNGRY! our hunger had overcome our exhaustion and fatigue!!!

这一些，所谓你的女神--张韶涵的经典名曲，在我和你同班的三年里，不知道已经在我的耳朵里重播了几千几万次，那惊人的“飙高音”也不知刺激了我的脑神经几百次。 最值得提起的就是。。。你竟然利用你那惊为天人的高音，把楼下班的老师也叫上来！！！还有，华语诗歌朗诵比赛，竟然把 “偶尔” 的歌词朗诵出来，我看这世上，也只有你才有这种本事吧！XD 但是，无可否认的，你还是最有资格冠上张韶涵头号超级疯狂粉丝之名的一位。

比较熟悉的是Form 4 那一年，因为有你，Boon Boon ，还有一位胸有成竹的承竹。所谓“三人行必有我师也”，但是。。上课，补习，下课，逛街，上厕所，你们也未免三人行得太密了吧，不知道的人应该会以为。。。=) Hehehe, no offense! 还有，做一些废废的人格调查行动。(不要假假忘记）

Form 5，一定是最多回忆的一年！幸好，镒陞，焌豪，嘉仪，你，我都一起到KL参加了INTI i-Challenge，NO REGRETS RIGHT! :)　当时，一心以为我们一行七人会搭飞机去，谁知道。。。我们却坐了差不多８小时的巴士！想起来，真是很忐忑！过分的人（你），还说酒店里的房间　“不干净”，吓得我们魂飞魄散！

就在毕业之际，我们一群人又无厘头地成立了远近驰名，震憾全中华上下的“BANANA GROUP”！！！这个组合的历史起源是。。。。。一件我不知道的事。但是，真的，真的，很疯狂！！！

在我们这群朋友各散东西之前，我们也一起到Batu Feringghi　海边过了２天１夜的疯狂海滩疯狂之旅！玩转RAPID巴士，颠覆公寓，拍了不少自我感觉良好的照片。。等等等～

LASTLY, Congratulations again for securing JPA scholarships and able to further your studies in KL and go after your ambition to be a pharmacist ! All the best and till we meet again (this December) hahahahaha!!!!I'm going down to KL to find you weh!!!

Ultimate Gathering

Ultimate gathering is not going to be ultimate. We gonna have more to come in future =)

That was about 3 weeks ago, Boon and me suddenly come up with an idea of organizing a gathering for all our secondary pals before everyone starts their school, be it Form 6 or college, we should gather and have fun before continue our path to better future.

There're so many options at first and in the end, we tried out something new, Apartment Stay =) Boon found a great deal online, it's a 3-rooms apartment at Batu Ferringhi. Special thanks to Shi Chyi who had helped out a lots during preparation, especially he drove me and boon to Batu Feringghi to see the environment of apartment!

During the preparation, I admitted, we encountered lots of problems. Like costs, transportation, equipments, number of people attending, so on and so forth. Though, it all comes to a beautiful full stop in the end! I think this is what chinese quote said " 船到桥头自然直 " .

Sunset. My first time to observe the complete sunset on the beach. It was an impressive experience. 

Now I know Penang beach can be attracting and nice somehow. 

When the darkness slowly engulfed the sky, we lighted up the candles...Romantic huh? 

LOL. got 3 candles and 4 of us sit around and chat. we sang along with some musics play on my phone. 

Jolene har and me even danced on the song "higher" ! We were so high weh xD

After barbeque and makan-makan all the night. Finally went back to the apartment, cleaned up myself from sands! We took group photos! :) Imagine how long we struggled for this group photo? 20 minutes! 

Lol. we're more GENG than those pop stars, hehe.

Then we chatted for a while with some recent issues and talking about our plans, so on and so forth. And guess what? There're 3 girls besides me who are so brave enough to talk about ghost stories on the bed .... I didn't joined them though, I'm afraid of ghosts! Zhia Liee, Pipi, Jo~ salute to you guys. Hehe..but i did heard some screams :)

I mentioned right? It's an apartment comes with 3 bedrooms.. but ended up 10 of us slept in the living room! It was FUN! GO read Jolene's blog  if you wanna know what happened :)

Initially we were planning to wake up at 4.30 and go to beach to see sunrise. End of the story is,  none of us can wake up but sleep like a pig. We only able to enjoy the cold breeze on beach at 6.30 but not able to observe the sunrise.. whatever, we still sleepy!

Back to apartment, we found nothing to eat as breakfast. Guess what? we played poker cards as our energy sustain tools. LOL. For the very first time, I won in CHOR DAI D! Yay!!!!! :D Later on, checked out and went gurney for lunch before bidding goodbye to each other.

Bidding farewell isn't hard, but it's hard when you realized all of us are not going to study in the same classroom anymore, everything has changed as the time move on. Some are leaving, some are staying, in 2 years time, all us us will still seperate. Thus, the moments we can gather should be cherished and enjoy every second of it. Good luck and all the best to my pals. Today we graduate, tomorrow we conquer the world! I shall see all of you again in future.

Good times with old friends

After SPM, after I went NS, after I flee back from NS, after Chinese New Year, after after after........Finally,  we managed to hang out with the girls =)!!! We makan, we chatted, makan and makan......=.=

Haha, last year! See the difference? Hmm....:P

One time of hang out to Queensbay is not enough for us. So, again, we went to makan (again) DIMSUM early in the morning! :) Then, credits go to Jolene the pro driver, we went to PCGHS food fair. Here's some shots .. :D

Something extraordinary in 2 days time

For the very first time, I chat with my friend from 12.30am to 4 am.
For the very first time, I had my first part time job. *and it was super duper exhausting
For the very first time, I earned my hard-earned 70 bucks. *only!!!!
For the very first time, I ate my first wan tan mee at 1am. *morning or midnight? lol
For the very first time, I ride on motorcycle on the road at midnight.
For the very first time, I slept at 4am again for the two continuous nights. *what the heck, life sustainable power dropped 50%
For the very first time, I go yamcha with Jo, Liee, Wen and Fei :)
For the very first time, we went to PCGHS together, and our ms.driver is Jolene!!Awesome skills :P
For the very first time, I spent 20 bucks only on milk tea! * inflation also not so hiong!
For the very first time, I went to Jw's church. * finally?
For the very first time, I deal with other's school discipline teacher! *WOW, GENG AH.
For the very first time, we walked to Gurney! Haha, awesome, thrilling, exciting trip to gurney! :D * sausage, with a big bag of fruits. =.='''

那一段。疯狂的香蕉岁月

某年某月某日，在不知情的原因之下，一个享誉全中华中学上上下下的组合诞生了--The Banana Group（香蕉组合）！

香蕉毕业照！照片中的几位。。。香蕉人？ 都是很香蕉的香蕉组员，因为他们天生如此！

其中两位香蕉组员到Traders Hotel 出席谢师宴的时候，把香蕉组合的名声发扬光大，更上一层楼！但是二位的形象却跌入不复之地。 哀哉也！

如今，香蕉们已各奔东西，南上北下，有空时也只能够通过 “面子书” （Facebook）来联系。
但愿来日还能与香蕉组员们聚在一起，回味那一段疯狂的香蕉岁月！:)

An evening spent in Neway

"AS usual, I had pre-chinese new year celebration with a group of friends. But this year, not spending with my school mates but the Tanjung Angmotan's members"

We planned to go Neway earlier before during the New Year eve, too bad, it's extremely expensive, of course, zero income student like us won't overspend and we didn't made it. Exactly a month from New year, we finally made it, NEWAY!

May I present you the list of attenders: (age goes ascending from left)

We spent 4 hours in total in a small small room, singing all the way non-stop. From the very first song, Lady Gaga, which the MV had surprisingly shocked the little little gina until the last song, "you're not alone" by MJ.
There're a few song that etched in my mind, which is very impressive because we sang it together and that was so cool ! Perhaps one won't have that chance that often in their life, spending time singing, or shall we say 'shouting' 'yelling' songs with a group of good friends like this. It's memorable and it's our memoirs of life :)

Well, everyone, excluding me, xy, yihuang and kath were quite cool and calm....stunned. Soon, the more we sing, the more we got excited, and everyone sings! Yay!!!

Sausage：感想篇

What is your first thought when you see sausage? I was once a sausage lover and I still love to eat sausage now. But then, everything changes since that day, sausage is not a sausage in my mind anymore. Hahaha.......

Well, well, well, this post is actually replying my friend's post, since we promised already, then I have to write right? You can just merely read through it, or don't bother it, it just a piece of crap... hehe.

Sausage，这个名词，对每个人来说， 应该都不陌生吧！单纯地就是一种家户喻晓的普通不过食物罢了。但是，自12月26日后，Sausage 在地球上的某个角落的某些人的脑海里，就变成很不普通了。 话说12月26日的早上。。。。 （请浏览“sausage 的自述”）。

就从那一分那一秒起，我们当中有一位“小朋友” 就被冠上了“sausage ” 的美誉！她可不是一般的sausage,　这个sausage，拜我们几个“好友”所赐，有着不一样的口味，有Peanut Butter, Blueberry, Blackcurrant, Strawberry, Vanila, White Carrot　等等！除此之外，这个sausage还会讲话，还会走动，简直就是稀有动物!:P

虽然好好的人做不成，便成了sausage。但是她还是“既来之，则安之”，与sausage这个名称相处得十分融洽！当然，也谢谢sausage，让我们从圣诞节到新年都能在sausage当中很开心。其实，sausage有时候也是几可爱一下啦！哈哈！

I love being YOUNG!

Nowadays, we have many different skin care products on the market, most selling with the magical of their products on making people looks young, or shall I say, Age Lift products.Is being young really that important? Yes I agree but not from the physical but from the spiritual, stay young!

People nowadays used to invest, or shall I say they're actually "dumping" money in order to make themselves look younger than their actual age.They can go for skin care products, swallowing different colors of pills, or even worse, Plastic Surgery like injecting Botox and so on. Sometimes, I think, what's that for? I mean everyone gets old one day right? Why do we have to against the natural law?

Anyway, I'm not going to further much on this topics, maybe, next time? I'm gonna talk about two GINA that I met in year 2010. These two fella are the one whom keeps me young and energetic always! :)

First of all, may I present to you, Isaac Tan! 

This fella is currently 14 years old,going to be 15 next year.
Which also means he's facing PMR next year? *evil grins, hehe
We knew each other in...Jan of 2010 if I'm not wrong.
First impression? Funny? Yea...Hilarious is his personality.
In fact, oh yes. He can be much funnier than you can imagine. hehe
Since his existence in my life, you know, mixing with a form 2 fella, I feel like i'm back to form 2/ 14 years old once again! So young, so good!
He's very updated with latest songs, movies, so on and so forth, from Malaysia Fly fm until US billboard, ask him and I'm sure you will be impressed, cause he's really UPDATED!
But please be aware, only English songs, chinese songs you have to seek for another person
We used to talk about TV series, like Glee? Not to forget that, both of us hate Justin Bieber! Yay..
His english is really good, he is just like those bananas. Yellow skin outside, white inside.I mean almost, like 80% of him. Though, luckily he still speaks Chinese :)
One thing I gonna tell him here, "hey yo, you're seriously a good rapper!Better than Travie Mccoy!!!"
I seriously have fun with you in this year, glad to know you and yay, I'm once again 14 years old.

May I introduce to you, Sausage! Opps, sorry, Praise is the name, yes. She's Praise Tan :) In the other words, she's the girl in bloody-red Chinese new year feeling not-so-cheong sam. :p

This fella is also 14 years old, even though we often tease her that she looks like 18 years old and above instead of 14. Hehe, my bad.
We knew each other in..? I'm not sure about this but I think I knew her further in June. That was in a camp few months ago.
First impression? Let me think....Quiet lo. Quiet, quiet, still very quiet! Alright, maybe we were too strange for each other, that's why she was so QUIET!
However, you'll find she's in fact not very quiet but kinda talkative after knowing her in deeper level. Soon, we started to chat a lot on Facebook and MSN like no others.
Err, she's very good in her Chinese of course, like I seriously have to learn more from her!
Quite a funny character that you can joke with, seriously, we joked a lot, aren't we?
We used to talk about, errr, what else can two girls talk about? Of course, celebrities :) Wilber Pan is her favourite but not mine. Korean stars are her cup of tea, but not mine either.
By the way, about the 'sausage' matter, would you guys like to know more about it? Hehe, okay. She likes sausage, sausage like her, She is sausage, sausage is her, as phrased in chinese “她爱香肠，香肠爱她；她是香肠，香肠是她”. Got'cha, Praise de' sausage!

Anyway, being with you 2 guys really made me feel younger and younger day by day. Hehe. Let's us stay young and continue to be ENERGETIC! BEING YOUNG ROCKS!

My piece of thought on 5S1

It's time to say goodbye but it's hard to say goodbye

Tomorrow, in less than 10 hours time, I'm leaving to Perak for my National Service! Though I will be back in Penang for Chinese New Year, still I feel hard to leave my hometown, family and friends.

People comes and leave in our life. Few months back, or few weeks ago, the mates in 5S1 were still sitting for SPM examinations but now, we gonna seperate and leave where we were belongs to, Penang. Some of us are going National Service like me, some went to further their studies in other state that is far away from Penang and also overseas, too!

You know how does it feels? It's like we just gathered yesterday and today we gonna bid farewell to each other. Time flies, really, and we wouldn't know what's awaiting us though God will prepare the best pathway. We will never know what's the date to gather again after we leave, maybe 10 years, maybe 20 years.....

Anyway,I sincerely wish every 5S1 mates all the best in future! Gathering will be held one day, or very soon! I believe it's not a dream if we say we gonna conquer the world one day!

2010 New Year Eve

I had the best New Year Eve ever in my life! 2010 is definitely a unforgettable year, no matter the moment before 2010 ends or the very first moment 2011 starts.

The new year eve of 2010, I finally did something to fill up my achievements in 2010 besides completing SPM. We went hiking to Muka Head, which located in Penang National Park with a gang of church members which consists of different ages of peoples.I would say the journey was really tough, 3 hours of hiking is not an easy job, determination and good stamina are needed in order to finish the whole route.

After exhausting hiking trip from Muka Head. 5 of us,Isaac Tan,Wei Jie,Lorenz,YiHuang and me went to Praise Tan+Joyce Tan+Peace Tan 's house for sleepover and also new year countdown for 2011. Not forget to mention, the moment 8 of us walked to the stage of Queensbay New Year Countdown stage is the moment they started to countdown! See, how lucky we were? We still to enjoy the crowd of new year eve before it really ends!

Then what's next? Sleep? NO WAY! Imagine what 8 teenagers can do....after midnight countdown party, back to home......? Haha, oh yea, we played cards and also watched some TV programmes. We played BLUFF,PIG games,Killer...etc etc. We had so much fun on the first Morning of 2011! We were playing none stop until 4 am, only then we struggled ourselves back to bed, sleep like a log. You tell me how tiring is it when you wake up early 6 am in the morning, went hiking, and sleep at 4 am the next day? THough, it still fun to do so.

However,it's a brand new year and I would like to wish everyone Happy New year!
Last but not least, joyce,peace,praise,isaac,weijie,lorenz,yihuang, so on and so forth, the new year eve is not wasted this year! Thanks for the hospitality and also everything and everything! Great thing to do before school reopens and I go NS, and it's also our MEMOIRS of LIFE. Next year? we'll see then :D Yay~

Trials is finally over!

Congratulations to me, readers! I've successfully survived from my SPM trials and now it's all over! Hahaha, what a happy news to share with you guys, huh? :)

Afterall, I think I've do my very best in my trials, but still unsatisfied with my science subjects. First time in my life, I sit for Biology paper 3 and it ended up with passing up a blank, clean, answer sheet! I'm really disappointed with my work, but i was so helpless as I didn't study the experiment at all, in case you don't know, it's the DCPIP test for Vitamin C. It's hard but still blaming myself for doing such silly thing, passed up blank paper!

Anyway, it's all became a history now. It's a fact that neither you nor me can change it, just wait patiently for the results to come out. *sigh*

Well, what's so fun after exam? Haha! Going to a BM seminar tomorrow, then we heading the new world park for lunch, then Queensbay for "eat, pray, love" ! Hopefully the plan will be as perfect as we planned! God Bless please. :)

Happy Mooncake Festival!

Hello readers, Happy Mooncake festival aka Mid-Autumn Festival ! Well, it's a late post but forgive me as I was busying with my SPM trials which is bloody hard and fatigued me. :(

Few days before the actual day of the festival, I'd joined a group of my friends in a celebration with some folks from church, it was quite nice, fun though extremely tiring.

Mooncake festival, to me, it's not a very enjoyable one, not as fun as the mooncake festival we used to have. Imagine you still burning midnight oil, studying very hard in a moonlit night. How irony, huh? 

Anyway, still firmly believe we 'll go through all these exams very soon, we must survive ourselves until the independence day! Hahaha.

Love in Disguise (Movie Day)

Hey, folks! Do you know about the movie " Love In Disguise " 恋爱通告 , it was casted by Wong Lee Hom and also Liu YiFei. And I can tell you that this movie was simply awesome!

The storyline of the story was not bad, simple and easily understood. I think LeeHom had did a good job in this movie, it's a combination of comedy and romance.

Of course, the gang of peoples who you're watching with is another aspect to make the movie more interesting! Haha, it's a fun outing with the gang from church =)

However, this might be the last outing for us and also ME! Cause everyone will be busy preparing their school exams, Trials, SPM, so on and so forth. Haih, let the fragment of memory continue to sustain my Boring life until SPM ends! ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i-challenge competition

Form 5, a year that we're soon to be graduated ! It's the last year of secondary school and I bet everyone wants it to be the greatest, glorious year right? And yeah, I think I'm lucky enough as I've been selected along with my 5 buddies to represent our school to participate in a competition in INTI, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan. That sounds interesting, isn't it?

Six of us. I would say this is the unbeatable team forever! haha

Well, initially a day before we departed to Nilai, we thought that Air Tickets will be given as stated in the letter. However, INTI fax our teacher, Ms Wong at the eleventh hour. Guess what's it about? We're going to INTI all the way by BUS! Oh God, 6 hours of journey on the bus, aiks, that was really disappointing!

Anyway, after going through "ups and downs" in the bus for 6 hours, I started to realize that it isn't that bad travelling by bus as we get to know some friends from Union High schools and Sin Min High school.

The hotel provided by INTI wasn't that bad, at least they have Wi-Fi that enables me to stay connected to outside world. Haha ! Anyway, the best part comes up with all of them gathered in my room and at first we studied some facts as preparations and we ended up with Facebook-ing and so on and so forth.

We get into Semi-finals but unfortunately, we lost in Semi-finals! That's sad and depressing but somehow, we still glad that we have the golden opportunity to meet and make friends with participants from all over the states in M'sia. I miss that day where a group of first met teenagers worked together in order to get themselves into Semi-finals! 

By the way, among the team mates, we earned valuable friendship and memoirs of life that is worthy than the awards. =)
